Why Savills Vietnam stopped its participation in industry awards

Since 2017, Savills Vietnam has stopped its participation in local and international industry awards and redirected annual award fees to charity and environmental activities to better benefit local people and community.

In 2018, with the focus on education, Savills Vietnam funded the Blue Dragon Tertiary Student Support Programme. The program provides ten scholarships to students in need and covers tuition fees and living allowances. Not only that, Savills Vietnam frequently hosts training courses for Blue Dragon tertiary students to develop a soft skill – training programme throughout 2018 for students at the foundation. Creative thinking and job seeking training for new undergraduates are a part of this programme.

Time Management and Creativity

Savills provided attendees with advice on how to save time and enhance creativity through a wide range of interactive games and group activities. The training course provides students with the necessary skills to efficiently balance study and social life.

Employment skills

Held in Hanoi and Danang, the training programme consisted of theoretical and practical aspects, including career advice from a Savills representative and team-building activities.

Students learnt about professional communication skills and information related to obtaining employment. Participants received guidance and advice on how to write a CV and answer interview questions. These essential skills give students the confidence to enter the competitive job market.
