In February 2022, Savills HCMC office achieved a LEED Gold certification for its interior design
and construction. The U.S. Green Building Council, a leader in the green building field, created LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) awards in the 90s, with the aim to create an open and balanced green rating system. This is one of the most widely used green building rating systems in the world and is a symbol of sustainability achievement and leadership.
Mr Neil MacGregor, Managing Director of Savills Viet Nam, said: “We are incredibly proud that our office has met the requirements for a LEED certificate. We pride ourselves in being a market leader, and we are now one of about 200 projects in Viet Nam with a green certification. Green and healthy buildings are the future, especially with increasing concerns over ESG.”
Mr Mahesh Ramanujam, President and CEO of the U.S. Green Building Council, said: “This certification identifies Savills HCMC office as a shining example of sustainability. It also shows Savills leadership in
transforming the building industry. We want to extend our congratulations and thanks to Savills for their commitment to our common goal of building a healthy, sustainable future.”
